The New Brunswick Union is a professional trade union representing more than 27 different bargaining components, with 8,400 members who work in every corner of the province, in over 600 different workplaces and in over 340 work classifications or job titles. We have over 7,500 members in the public sector and over 600 members in the private and manufacturing sectors.

The New Brunswick Union helps negotiate 25 collective agreements for members who work in hospitals, schools, manufacturing plants, nursing homes, colleges, laboratories, police associations and many more.

The union offers a variety of programs, activities and training in which you can become union activists in your own work place.

Our mission is to be a trade union that ensures democratic and equitable representation, to have fairness and respect in our workplaces, our governments, and our communities and to accommodate the diversity of our members and to allow for accountable leadership and effective communication.
