Commercial highlights members off the clock

The latest commercial from the New Brunswick Union (NBU) shows three of our members when they are off the clock and enjoying our great province.
“As New Brunswickers, we love our province and all the things it affords us like its natural beauty and relaxed pace of life which allows more time for friends and family,” said NBU President Susie Proulx-Daigle. “The past few years have placed a lot of strain on our province, so we wanted to show some of our members getting the opportunity to enjoy those experiences and show how important they are to the fabric of our province.”
While the NBU represents more than 10,000 members in hundreds of different professions, the three in the commercial are an Advanced Care Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist and Public Health Inspector.
All three professions are vital to the wellbeing of New Brunswickers every day, but their role has been even more significant during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our members have been on the front lines battling the pandemic on behalf of their colleagues, friends and family,” said Proulx-Daigle. “The last two years have been difficult for everyone, but to see NBU members rise to the challenge each day is remarkable and inspiring.”
All filming was done in accordance with provincial guidelines regarding COVID-19.
